BURIAL + SCATTERING
In Canada, scattering or spreading of cremation ashes can be held on any private land, with the owner’s permission, or federal and provincial land. Some local parks also permit scattering ashes. When planning your ceremony, please verify regulations for your chosen site. More details here.
Most cemeteries and burial grounds are happy to bury ashes with our eco mix. Many cemeteries do have special guidelines for natural burials. If you are planning a formal burial, we will help coordinate with the cemetery or funeral home as a courtesy to your family. Please just email us.

• Plant or bury; top up soil as needed
• For planting in a flower pot, mix with potting soil
• For scattering, let sit for 120 days before use for best results
PLANTING
Plant your loved one’s ashes together, or create individual pots or keepsakes for each family member.
Memorial plants can be any variety of indoor or outdoor plant. Simply choose something meaningful, use LYLG and cremation ashes in planting, and follow the standard instructions for plant care.
• ALL ASHES is best suited to outdoor memorials, such as gardens, forests, or fields
• If planting in a flower pot, we suggest using ALL ASHES with large containers of 38 Liters, approximately 16” x 14” (41 cm x 36 cm) or larger
